From above, on a wooden desk: a question booklet, an answer key with a red seal, two guidebooks that disagree, a pencil and a cup of chai.
Most question banks tell you the answer. Very few tell you how they know it.

Two guidebooks, two different keys, and no way to tell which one to trust. For past papers that decide a year of someone’s life, that is not good enough. PYQGraph was built on one rule: an answer is worth only as much as its source — so the source travels with every answer, on every question.

i.The explanation

What you read after you answer.

Every explanation has the same four parts, so you always know where to look — and the wrong options get as much attention as the right one, because that is where marks are lost.

  1. The idea being tested

Named in a line, so you can see which fact the question turns on — and revise that, not the whole chapter.

  2. Why the key is right

The reasoning, with the article, the act or the figure it rests on.

  3. The trap in each wrong option

What someone who picked it was thinking, and why it fails. Examiners reuse traps far more often than questions.

  4. Where to read more

A pointer to the standard source, so the explanation can be checked rather than believed.

RPSC RAS Prelims · 2016 · Q40Commission’s final key

Which one of the following legislative house can be abolished ?

Key: (3) Vidhan Parishad

1Creation and abolition of Legislative Councils under Article 169
2Article 169 of the Constitution of India provides the constitutional mechanism for the abolition or creation of Legislative Councils (Vidhan Parishad) in States. Parliament can enact a law to abolish an existing Vidhan Parishad if the Legislative Assembly (Vidhan Sabha) of that State passes a resolution by a special majority (a majority of total membership and a two-thirds majority of members present and voting). In contrast, Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha can only be dissolved under Articles 85 and 174, while Rajya Sabha is a permanent body under Article 83(1) that cannot be dissolved or abolished. Thus, only the Vidhan Parishad can be abolished.
3(1) Lok Sabha is a mandatory house of Parliament that can be dissolved before its term, but cannot be abolished.
(2) Rajya Sabha is a permanent chamber that is neither subject to dissolution under Article 83(1) nor capable of being abolished.
(4) Vidhan Sabha is an essential house of a state legislature that can be dissolved under Article 174(2)(b), but cannot be abolished.

iii.Our word

Six things we will not do.

  1. I

    Hide the answer key.

Every question and its correct answer stays public, so you can check our keys before you pay a rupee.

  2. II

Pass off our answer as the commission’s.

Where we do not hold the commission’s key, the question says so plainly, in a colour of its own, before you answer.

  3. III

Promise you what the paper will ask.

We show what has been asked, how often and where. Nobody can honestly tell you what comes next, and we won’t pretend to.

  4. IV

    Ask for your phone number.

An email is enough. No sales calls, no counsellor, no WhatsApp group you did not choose to join.

  5. V

    Hide a correction.

When an answer is wrong, the fix is made on the question itself, dated, where everyone who studied it can see.

  6. VI

Sell your attention, or your data.

No advertising, no coaching upsell, no list of aspirants sold on. Members pay for the work, and that is the whole business.

iv.Membership

Attempt 20 free. Then practise without limits.

Membership opens every paper to attempt, with full explanations and the trap in each wrong option. It keeps every paper you sit, gathers every question you got wrong into one place, and shows you the mistakes you keep making — the shortest honest list of what to revise next.

From ₹83 a month on the yearly plan — nothing sold separately.

  • Sit any paper as the real exam

Its official time and a clock that submits at zero. Change or clear answers until you submit; cutting marks for wrong answers is your choice.

  • Answer first, then see why

Press Show answer when you are ready: the key, the reasoning, and the trap in every wrong option.

  • The same idea in other states

Each question shows where the same idea was asked in other states’ papers — and marks the ones asked again.

  • How others answered

What share of members chose each option, once enough of them have answered it.

  • Your result, in detail

Marks earned and marks lost to wrong answers, subject by subject, and the time each question took.

  • Mistakes that come back on time

A question you get wrong returns the next day. Once cleared, it comes back after 7 and 30 days, so it stays learnt.

Tonight

Sit one paper. See exactly where you stand — and why.

Pick a state, pick a year, and answer. Mistakes come with the reason behind them, and the source that settles it.
